Our recent Estyn inspection recognised Knelston as a warm, inclusive, and caring school community where pupils flourish both academically and personally. We are incredibly proud of the strong relationships that exist between pupils, staff, families, and the wider community, creating a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and confident to be themselves.
Nestled in the heart of beautiful South Gower, Knelston Primary is a vibrant rural school with a strong sense of community and belonging. We know every child as an individual and work hard to ensure that all pupils feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to aim high. Our dedicated staff, governors, parents, and wider community work closely together to create a stimulating and supportive environment where children develop confidence, resilience, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Through rich and engaging learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom, children are encouraged to think creatively, solve problems independently, and develop the skills they need for the future. Making the most of our unique South Gower environment, outdoor learning plays an important role in inspiring curiosity, wellbeing, and a deep connection with the world around them.
